General Wali Kothi Lucknow was built on the right bank of river Gomti. Kothi is built next to Chhattar Manzil Lucknow. During reign of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan to accommodate the commander in chief or general thus in course of time.It came to be known as General Wali .It is a double floor and well ventilated palace reflecting typical British architectural style.General Wali building has a number of Roman arches decorated with serpent heed motifs.
