Tomb Saadat Ali Khan
The Tomb saadat Ali Khan was built by Nawab Gazi-ud-din Haider (1814-27A.D.), Son and successor of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan (1798-1814 A.D.) .It was erected on the very spot of the residential complex where Gazi-ud-din Haider lived as Crowned prince.The tomb is square built of lakhauri bricks laid in lime mortar and decorated with plaster mouldings. The main dome is fluted.The main hall is octagonal in plan, has a beautiful floor of bricks and white marble arranged in check board design. The Nawab is buried in an underground vault just below the marked space on the pavement, which runs north-south. Separate steps lead to a narrow passage. In Tomb of Saadat Ali Khan lie the graves of the king and his brothers. On the eastern side there are the grave of his three daughters.It is situated near Begum Hazrat Mahal Park, The Tomb Of Saadat Ali Khan situated back of Begum Hazrat Mahal Park in Qaiser Bagh Lucknow.
